Christian Formation
Formation at St. Stephen's
Formation is at the heart of our life as an Episcopal community, shaping us as disciples of Christ through prayer, study, and reflection. It deepens our understanding of Scripture, tradition, and theology, equipping us to live out our faith with wisdom and compassion in the world.
Whether through lifelong Christian education, small group discussions, or spiritual practices, formation nurtures a deeper relationship with God and one another. In a rapidly changing world, it provides a grounding in faith, helping us to grow in love, justice, and service. At its core, formation is not just about learning—it is about transformation.

St. Luke's Chapel
Centering Prayer is a simple practice of silent prayer that helps us rest in God’s presence. Rooted in the Christian contemplative tradition, it invites us to gently let go of our thoughts and distractions and open our hearts to God’s quiet, loving presence.
All are welcome.
No experience is necessary.
Wednesdays, 6:30 PM
The Garden Room
Following Eucharist and a Potluck dinner, we gather every Wednesday evening to delve into and explore the stories of our faith.
We are currently making our way through the books of the New Testament in the order in which they were likely written.
Everyone is welcome!
