The family that is St. Stephen’s parish has a wide range of fellowship options for all!
Sunday Morning Breakfast
Each Sunday morning between the two services, we offer breakfast for a small donation. Members of the parish provide the fixings, and you provide the company! A volunteer list is posted and everyone can take a turn being host if they wish. It’s a good way to sort out a sermon, or simply sit and visit.
Following the 10 a.m. Sunday worship, different groups within the church serve drinks and goodies for the enjoyment of all. This gathering gives newcomers a way to meet and greet members, and provides another opportunity for our congregation to deepen friendships. The children love to grab a cookie and run (or go for a spin with Janet and her wheelchair!).
St. Stephen’s Men’s Group
The Men’s Group is open to all men in the parish. It usually meets at a restaurant on the 4th Thursday of each month. In some summer months, there is a cookout instead. For more information on the Men’s Group events, please contact Bob Palik.
Episcopal Church Women (ECW)
All women who are members of St. Stephen’s are considered members of the ECW. Our vision for all women of the Episcopal Church is that we become a vibrant blend of all ages, coming tighter to enjoy each other’s company in good fellowship and as a peacemaking, healing part of the church. We aspire to be God’s spark – shining and sharing the love of Christ. St. Stephen’s ECW is involved in a variety of missions and mistries as well as offering support in the local community. Some of these activities include:
- Altar Guild
- Flower Guild
- Kairos and Kairos Outside prison Ministry
- Vacation Bible School
- Regular fellowship gatherings
- Homeless ministries
- Child Development Center
- St. Stephen’s Children’s and Youth Ministries
