The Reverend Jeff Evans
Father Jeff was born in Birmingham, and grew up in Leeds. He graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1989 with a double major in History and English. He earned is Master of Divinity at the General Theological Seminary of the Episcopal Church in 2012. He served as Rector of St. Timothy’s in Athens AL for 5 1/2 years before joining St. Stephen’s Huntsville as full time Rector.
Jeff plays guitar and is learning to play the clawhammer banjo. He loves books, music, art, history, theology, liturgy, coffee, and cycling — though not necessarily in that order.
Jeff and Isabel have been married for almost 22 years, and are parents to Ethan, 16, and Dylan, who is 12. The Evans family is really excited to have been called to join the St. Stephen’s family.
The Reverend Lynn Bullard
Ordained to the diaconate in October 2004, Lynn is married to Tommy Bullard and has two sons, Ashley and Thomas. A graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in General Business Administration, Lynn is retired from her “day job” in the banking industry. Her primary diaconal ministry is serving the homeless, with an affiliation to the North Alabama Coalition for the Homeless (NACH). She has been a member of NACH since 2003 and has served on its board of directors since 2009. Other interests include prison ministry where Lynn has serving as a spiritual director on both Kairos Outside and Kairos Inside (Tutwiler Prison for Women) teams.
